DESIGN REQUIREMENTS
A 3-Dimensional design in (.igs or .stp) format and a workable concept drawing shall
show, at a minimum:
1. Datums
2. Net side of part (part design side identified).
3. Template side of part
4. Part load direction
5. Number of templates, SPC’s and their locations
6. Any special circumstances
7. A check of all holes
8. Base and main body material type
9. Cross section showing base with the part orientation and fixture as male or
female.
10. Any stab pins for holes of true position 1.0mm or less
