Approval of fixture instructions will be designated by the appropriate customer Fixture/Gage Engineer before following steps are applicable.
Detailed step-by-step user instructions shall be supplied with all fixtures, including multiple sheets with views which may be added to help identify and describe difficult areas that would require additional instructions. These may be attached to the base or supplied in a booklet.
Instructions also need to be in electronic format and supplied upon delivery.
The fixture instructions must be detailed and understandable with references to the fixture clearly labeled.
They must identify the sequence that the part is to be loaded, inspected and unloaded.
